It is so strange to have two kids in school now. Our precious Autumn started Kindergarten last week and our bid kid Noah started 2
nd grade. Autumn has been so excited all summer. After the first week of school Autumn was so disappointed to realize that she didn't get to go on Saturday. She was so excited to have her first homework assignment today. Noah is doing really well too. He is settling in and getting used to the routine. He really likes his teacher and so do we. Oh yeah, Autumn's teacher was Dawn's first grade teacher too. That's when you know you've been teaching for a long time.
Noah showed Autumn all around on her first day. They have played a couple times at lunch recess since the times overlap by a few minutes.

Noah's first day. You may not be able to tell but he is dripping wet. It poured rain the morning of his first day. The poor teachers......the kids were twice as energized I think.
